 đź’‹GLOBAL AMBASSADOR: Reese Witherspoon

đź’‹GLOBAL AMBASSADOR: Reese Witherspoon

đź’‹Founded by a woman dedicated to helping women, ELIZABETH ARDEN was inspired by our history to help change the future. March On honors this legacy not only with philanthropic funds, but also with a campaign that asks women to unite to help each other achieve their full potential. Whether by fostering global legal reform, creating female-centric support systems or propelling each other in their professional lives, when women stand together they can enact great change in the world.

An early feminist and strong advocate of women’s rights, Elizabeth Arden famously provided red lipstick to the suffragettes marching on Fifth Avenue in 1912. Wearing red lipstick, which wasn’t then a socially acceptable practice, soon became a symbol of the women’s movement and has remained a symbol of female power to this day. As the women’s movement continues in force over 100 years later, Elizabeth Arden is honoring its commitment to empowering women’s futures with the introduction of the March On campaign.

💋 SO...When Reese Witherspoon is the global ambassador & you receive a call to work on the Australian division of the same campaign, with the brief being "designed to celebrate women’s achievements and encourage women to support other women”, you say….. “Absofreakinglutly." ⠀

ELIZABETH ARDEN are donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of every single one of these Limited Edition lipsticks ($42ea) to @UNWomen to advance gender equality worldwide.â €

One of the things I am proudest of in my career is the launch of the this platform, The Samantha Wills Foundation; designed specifically with the purpose to empower women in business. For so long there has been an unspoken element that sharing your failures or vulnerabilities will see you be perceived as weak. I am passionate that it is actually the opposite; the more we talk about the hardships we've experienced, the hurdles & the setbacks, we very quickly realize that everyone is experiencing the same things, & most likely have the same insecurities & fears as each other. The more honest we are in our sharing’s the more we can work together in support of each other, rather than in isolation. â €

If you want to get behind this amazing campaign with your donation to UN Women, you can purchase this Limited Beautiful Color Lipstick in 'Red Door Red’ for yourself or an inspiring woman in your world at DAVID JONES Stores.⠀

Thank you to ELIZABETH ARDEN for the work you do in empowering women, and for the true honour it is for me to be involved as an ambassador on this campaign. - đź’‹SWxâ €
